As a result, calling 715-485-8370 and speaking with a jail officer is the quickest way to locate an inmate. When making a direct inquiry to a jail staff member, you must correctly provide the inmate’s first and last name, ID number, or date of birth.

Important Jail Policies and Visitation Procedures

Inmates are permitted a maximum of 50 minutes of visitation per week. The facility is open for visitors on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. All sessions will be 25 minutes long. Visitors must make an appointment by 8:00 PM on the day of the proposed visitation schedule. Female inmates have visiting hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Male visitors can come on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Each session will be limited to four people, and all visitors must be on the list of Approved Visitors. As proof of identification, all visitors must bring a valid photo ID. These photo identification cards can be any of the following:

1. Wisconsin Driver’s License
2. Wisconsin Identification Card
3. Military Identification Card
4. Out-of State Driver’s License with picture
5. Any School Identification card with picture

All visitors must be at least 18 years old. Anyone with a felony or probation record would be denied visitation.
