Important Jail Policies and Visitation Procedures

Monroe County Jail has visiting hours on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Each inmate is permitted three (03) 30-minute sessions per week. For visitor approval, all visitors must register their names in advance (at least two days and up to 14 days). If a visitor does not wish to meet an inmate on the specified day, he or she must cancel the session by calling the facility. All visitors must be at least 18 years old and present a valid government ID as proof of identification.
