The video visitation program allows inmates at the Cache County Jail to communicate with family and friends. On-site and in-home visits are both possible. The visiting week runs from Sunday to Saturday.
On-site visits are free. Every inmate receives two free 20-minute visits per week. Visitation is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Visits should be scheduled at least 24 hours ahead of time by visiting the Securus Technologies website. Unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, visitors must be at least 18 years old. Individuals aged 16 and up must present a photo ID when visiting. Food, beverages, and cell phones are not permitted in the visiting room.
Remote visitation is available daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Each inmate is permitted one visit per day, with a maximum of seven visits per week. Visits can last anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes. There are fees involved. You must first create an account on the Securus Technologies website in order to schedule a visit.
All incoming mail must be in the form of a postcard. Postcards must include the sender’s full name and return address. Photos, glitter, lipstick, perfume, and other obscene materials are not permitted on postcards. They cannot also be larger than 6 x 11.5 inches. Photos may be mailed to an inmate if the envelope is clearly labeled “Photographs” and the pictures are no larger than 5 inches by 7 inches.
