Phone Calls

All offenders are not permitted to accept incoming calls. Please wait for the offender to contact you. All calls are timed out after 15 minutes. Please keep in mind that all calls will be monitored by an Oxford Jail employee.

The Oxford Police Department is comprised of 32 sworn police officers and 3 full-time civilian employees who are all under the command of Chief of Police Alvin Coley. The OPD has several divisions and units such as Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Vice Narcotics Unit, SWAT Team, K-9 Unit, and Forensics. The Patrol Division is responsible for providing patrol services to all areas within the town as well as responding to all calls for service. The Criminal Investigations Division, on the other hand, handles all follow-up investigations of serious crimes against persons and property.
