Important Jail Policies and Visitation Procedures

Inmates assigned to work are permitted up to four visitors per scheduled visiting day. All other inmates are limited to three visitors per scheduled visiting day. Saturday and Sunday are the days for male visitors. Saturdays are reserved for female inmate visitation. Inmates with special/restricted housing status have visitation on Wednesdays.

It is the inmate’s responsibility to inform visitors that he or she has been placed on the lit. If their legal parent or guardian is on the inmate’s visitation list, juveniles may visit them. They are, however, not included in the permitted number of visitors.
Visitors must show photo identification before being allowed to enter. Driver’s licenses, passports, and military identification are all acceptable forms of identification. All visitors are also required to follow the facility’s dress code. Shirts, shoes, and underwear are required. Clothing that exposes normally covered areas of the body, such as bare midriffs, strapless tops, short-shorts, and cut-offs, will be prohibited.
All visitors are being searched. Personal belongings are not permitted inside the facility. Food, gum chewing, and beverages are also prohibited.
Inmates can also send and receive mail. Every piece of mail will be opened and inspected for contraband. Mail addressed to an inmate must be addressed as follows:
