You can search the Washoe County Jail’s Weekly Arrest Report online. It contains a list of inmates who are currently incarcerated at the facility. To find an inmate here, enter the individual’s last name into the search box provided. You can view the inmate’s file by clicking on the correct name. His full name, booking number, age, JID number, booking date, housing unit, and charges are all listed here.

Important Jail Policies and Visitation Procedures

Video visitation with family and friends is permitted for inmates at the Washoe County Jail. To schedule a remote visit, visitors must first create an account on the iWebVisit website. Inmates in the General Population are permitted up to two Remote Video Visits per day, Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sundays from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Please call (775) 328-2952 to make an appointment for an on-site visit. Each scheduled visiting day, inmates are permitted one (1) non-contact video-based personal visit. A maximum of two visitors may enter at one time. Children are included. Individuals aged 18 and up must have a current and valid US government-issued identification card. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Every visit is limited to 20 minutes.

Personal belongings of any kind are not permitted inside the visiting area. They must be secured in the vehicle or one of the provided lockers. At any time, any visitor may be subjected to a personal search. When visiting, they must also adhere to proper dress standards.

The visitation schedule of an inmate is determined by the housing unit to which he has been assigned. Inmates in the general population are assigned based on their last name.

Special Management inmates have the following visitation schedule:

Disciplinary Segregation – Professional Visits Only

Administrative Segregation – Limited to 1 visit per month; Friday 8:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Protective Custody – Limited to 1 visit per week; Friday 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Mental Segregation – Limited to 1 visit per week Friday; 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

As incoming inmate mail, only postcards measuring 4.25 x 6 inches will be accepted. Books and/or magazines must be sent directly from the bookstore or publisher. Postcards with glue, glitter, tape, or marks from paint, crayon, watermarks, stains, perfumes, lipstick, or other substances will not be accepted.

To send a postcard to an inmate, include the inmate’s name, the word “inmate,” his booking number, and the address of the Washoe County Jail.

To send money to an inmate, family and friends can use the kiosk located in the Sheriff’s Office’s visiting lobby or foyer. They can also make payments online through the JailATM website or by mailing money orders to Washoe County Jail, ATTN: Inmate Accounting.
