Important Jail Policies and Visitation Procedures

Visitation is limited to two (2) hours per week for inmates.
Visitors must be approved visitors on the inmate’s list.
Visitors must have a valid state driver’s license, state ID, or other governmental identification.
If you are under the age of 18, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. At the visitation panel, only one minor may be present with a parent or guardian at a time.
There shall be no unattended minor children in the waiting area.
Visitors must not have been imprisoned within the previous month.
When problems arise or violations of department policy regarding visitation occur, visitation will be terminated.
Visitors will not be permitted to use cellular phones, recording devices, or take photographs while visiting.
Visitors must dress appropriately. There will be no provocative clothing.
At the visitor’s panel, no tobacco, food, or drink are permitted.
Visitors who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be denied entry.
If more than one visitor arrives for the same inmate during a session, the first visitor will be allowed to visit, followed by the next.
Any activity at the visitor’s panel or in the lobby waiting area that disturbs persons conducting business at the Sheriff’s Office or disrupts the Sheriff’s Office’s good working order is grounds for visitation termination.
If the Jail Director, Supervisor, or Sheriff has reasonable grounds to believe the visitor may present or pose a threat to the safety or security of the Sheriff’s Office and/or Detention Center, they may restrict who is allowed to visit.

Visitation hours are Monday – Sunday (including holidays) 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. Visitation will be on a first come first serve basis.
