Important Jail Policies and Visitation Procedures

All visitors, including children and adults, must be listed on the inmate’s visitor list.
Adult visitors are required to present a government-issued photo ID. Acceptable is a yellow receipt with any other picture identification.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
All guests are required to dress appropriately.
No contraband, including firearms, knives, mace/pepper spray, nail files, tweezers, razors, scissors, box cutters, knitting needles, nail clippers, Swiss army cards, large sets of keys on lanyards, and any other potentially hazardous items.
Prior to entry, all guests must pass through a metal detector.
Visiting passes will not be issued within the final fifteen minutes of the visiting period.
No cameras or mobile devices are permitted in the visitor area.
On busy days, visits can be shorter than 20 minutes.
All visits occur in a designated visiting area.
No contact between visitors and inmates is permitted. Visiting booths with telephones separate the inmate and visitor behind a glass partition.
The staff may end the visit earlier than the allotted time.
