Important Jail Policies and Visitation Procedures

Weekly, inmates at the Berkshire County Jail and House of Correction are permitted three one-hour visits. Inmates may receive up to two adults and two minors at a time. All visitors must be included on a pre-approved list. Each inmate may include up to five individuals on this list. All adult visitors must present a valid state-issued photo ID. Visitors under the age of 17 are required to be accompanied by an adult and to present a valid state-issued photo ID or lengthy birth certificate.
