The Montgomery County Jail maintains an online database of incarcerated inmates. You can look for an inmate by using the following criteria: Name and Reservation Number. Each inmate’s file includes the following information: Name, Mugshot, Booking Number, Charges, Bond, Arresting Agency, Date, Age, Sex, and Race.

Important Jail Policies and Visitation Procedures

Because the circumstances of each arrest are different, you must fill out an application to visit your inmate each time he or she is booked. Approval is granted by the Sheriff’s office, the County Attorney, and jail administration. Any denial from any entity will result in the approval being revoked. The entire procedure takes about 72 hours. The application will be denied if the applicant has been arrested or incarcerated in the last 6 months on bond, probation, or parole.
Visitation will be denied if you are on bond, probation, parole, or have been incarcerated in the jail within the last 6 months.
Each visitation day, you must call in to schedule an appointment. Then you must arrive at the jail 30 minutes early.
Visitation is a privilege that will be revoked for inmates who have behavioral issues.
The jail cannot and will not pass messages to or from your inmate. You must either write to him or wait for them to call you.

Visitation Time:

Male Inmates – Fridays 1-7 pm. (I hr. appts.) You must call between 8-10 am Friday morning to schedule your appointment. Appointments are first eome, first serve. Visitors must arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time. If you are late, you may not receive the full visit.
Female Inmates – Saturdays 9-12 pm. (I hour visits). Walk-in appointments. No need to schedule an appointment.
Work-Crew Inmates – Sundays 1-4 pm. (I hr. visits). Walk-in appointments. No need to schedule an appointment.
