Important Jail Policies and Visitation Procedures
Through the services of Securus Technologies, inmates at the Vigo County Jail can communicate with family and friends. Video visits can be conducted both on-site and at home. Exceptions to the monitoring and recording of visits include attorney video visits.
The schedule for onsite video visitation is as follows:

Additionally, inmates may receive mail. Include the inmate’s full name in all correspondence with them. Not accepted are restricted items such as Polaroid photographs, pornographic materials, homemade greeting cards, postage stamps, and books not sent directly from the publisher.
