Important Jail Policies and Visitation Procedures

Through visitation, inmates at the Marshall County Jail are encouraged to maintain contact with family and friends. A valid photo ID must be presented upon entry. Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The facility reserves the right to search visitors’ persons and belongings upon entry. Except for identification and vehicle keys, no personal items are permitted in the visitation area. All visitors must adhere to the dress code. There will be a prohibition on skintight clothing and other provocative attire.
Monday through Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., visitors are welcome. One visit per day is permitted, with a maximum of three visits per week.
By using JailATM, mailing a money order, or using the automated kiosk in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office, family and friends can deposit funds into an inmate’s account.
