Inmate Search in Bannock County Jail

The Bannock County Jail does not keep an online inmate roster list where you can view a list of detainees. As a result, the quickest way to locate an inmate is to call 208-236-7116 and ask a jail officer directly. When communicating with jail personnel, you must correctly provide inmate details such as the inmate’s first and last name, ID number, or date of birth.

Important Jail Policies and Visitation Procedures

At the Bannock County Jail, there are two types of visitation systems: local and remote. Visitors who choose the local visitation system must come to the detention center and use the visitor stations located in the visitation area. Each inmate is allowed two 30-minute visits per week (from Sunday through Saturday). You must schedule your visits at least 24 hours in advance of the proposed visitation sessions. For a fee, you will be granted 30 minutes of additional visitation time.
All visitors are required to use their computer during the remote visitation session. All sessions conducted via the remote visitation system will be pre-paid. The fees for remote visitation sessions will be paid by either the visitors or the inmates. The visitation hours for remote visitation systems are as follows:
